Admission is changing the way people see advertisements. They provide rich ads that adapt to the interests of the viewer.

She is so right. With DVR usage TV advertising is virtually dead. The main point that the TV networks haven't understood is that TV is an entertainment media. People watch it to be entertained. They want to watch the shows not the commercials. Which may account for why people pay for HBO and Showtime, they at least get their money's worth in entertainment. So what is the answer? Get rid of commercials, and allow consumers to pay for whichever TV channels they prefer. TV would get so much better or disappear altogether. It's a win win situation.
