Setup at the café
Day 3 Saturday
I arrived at the café to help volunteer. I spent most of the day painting. The massive collection of art at the café often goes unnoticed. The benches, the walls, every piece of wood is decorated with expressive visual pieces. As patrons stop to rest on a padded seat they might miss the artistry all around them in including the very seat they're sitting on. The café is an integral part of Black Rock city not only because it provides the traveler with a place to rest and catch up but because it is rich with the culture and aesthetic that is Black Rock city.
