On Friday Feb 23, ten researches set out to discover, once and for all, the best tasting vodka sold. In a elaborate blind method devised by Nathan Wood, the researches sampled five vodkas without any knowledge of which vodka they were tasting. The vodkas included Chopin, Ketel One, Grey Goose, Black Sea and Popov Here are their results.

With results that is more anthropology than chemistry here is their findings. Names have been witheld to protect the innocent.

Chopin     :4: Burning in mouth.
Ketel One  :1: Smoother finish.
Grey Goose :3
Black Sea  :2
Popov      :5

Chopin     :2: Strong. Not too smooth.
Ketel One  :1: Smoother than last, has a bite to it.
Grey Goose :3: No.
Black Sea  :4: I'm not sure I like vodka.
Popov      :

Chopin     :5: Rubbing alcohol. Burned all the way down. No distinct flavor.
Ketel One  :4: Strong but not as strong. Still burning. Smoother but only a step up (tortilla).
Grey Goose :3: Much smoother. Not so burny. (Wheat thin)
Black Sea  :1: (Swiss) Good. Only burns in mouth. Smooth finish.
Popov      :2: 1st sip good, 2nd sip bad.

Chopin     :3: Tasted inexpensive and harsh.
Ketel One  :2: Slight aniseed flavor, not quite smooth but better than A.
Grey Goose :4: Yuck. Burney out my nosey! [sad face doodle] 
Black Sea  :5: Meh! Got any scotch?! Boo!
Popov      :1: It could just be the booze talking but I think I like it.

Chopin     :3: Hint of citrus but very harsh.
Ketel One  :5: Sweet [underlined]. Smooth.  Kettle one?
Grey Goose :4: Sweet. Slightly harsher. Grey Goose?
Black Sea  :2: Nathan tastes vanilla; I don't. It's harsh but without the redeeming quality of having citrus.
Popov      :1: Cheapest.

Chopin     :2: No flavor but it burnt a hole in my lips.
Ketel One  :3: Still tastes like my gum...
Grey Goose :4: Complete upper and lower lip burn plus top gums.
Black Sea  :1: I drank it, and thats saying something.
Popov      :5: Yikes!!!

Chopin     :5: Harsh, burning.
Ketel One  :1: Smooth.
Grey Goose :2: Tastes like D.
Black Sea  :3: Tingly, OK, vanilla-ish.
Popov      :4:

Chopin     :1: Smooth / Quality / Sweet?
Ketel One  :4: Poor / Harsh
Grey Goose :2: Smooth / Quality / Licorice / Anise
Black Sea  :3: Smooth / Alcohol-y
Popov      :5: Ugly

Chopin     :2: Tangy, citrus-y, spicy.
Ketel One  :1: Clean, sweet, 
Grey Goose :5: Harsh, spicy, bad aftertaste.
Black Sea  :4: Unrefined, grapefruit, vanilla.
Popov      :3: Harsh vodka-ey, no pls ok [?], perfume.

Chopin     :4: Burned my chest. My head hurt.
Ketel One  :2: Very smooth. Lavender? Flowery flavor.
Grey Goose :5: Very harsh, least favorite.
Black Sea  :1: I love it.
Popov      :3: This is so-so.
