Motorola Razr V3C NAM Programming
When I was having trouble with my MetroPCS phone they eventually replaced my phone with a RAZR. I'm on my second RAZR now. The first one had a broken volume button. This one had the wrong phone number assigned to it so when I tried checking my voice mails I would get an NSF02 error. In an attempt to avoid the tech guys at MetroPCS who would only worsen my problem (this is after all the seventh phone they've given me).
I searched all over the net looking for the "subsidy code" to unlock the secret menu; but, of course, it's always easier to search for the information once you've discovered the secret code since the code itself is an excellent piece of information to search on. For my new phone, one such code happens to be "74663". This gets you into the NAM menu. NAM stands for Number Assignment Module.
The NAM is the electronic memory in the cellular phone that stores the telephone number and an electronic serial number. Phones with dual- or multi-NAM features offer users the option of registering the phone with a local number in more than one market. The codes for entering the NAM menu are as follows. The subsidy code is 587846 if it asks for it.
74663 # clr clrThe following codes will access the opcode menu.
clr 048263 *
Please be careful with these options, it could render your phone useless and I cannot help you get it back.
