Dear Walt,
I am writing to thank you for my recent purchase. I just received the Canon EOS 10D that I purchased on Monday and it is everything I expected. What I did not expect is the service that I received from your store. This is why I am writing you today.
I have been interested in the 10D ever since they were released back in March. It has been difficult to find stores (online or otherwise) that carry the product. If they did it was either priced much higher that yours or the store had developed a really bad reputation of poor customer service. Words like 'bait and switch' were popular among the terms user to describe some of these other places.
I first heard that your store carried the 10D on the week of April 21. I immediately called and spoke with one of you sales representatives, Joe Park. He explained that the store was sold out, but when I told him that I was very interested in obtaining one he collected my information and told me that he would call me when they came in. I was skeptical, my experiences with online businesses have not always been positive, and I imagined that my name would get lost and forgotten. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from Joe on Monday to inform me that the cameras had come in and that he had one waiting for me. Joe was very friendly, and immediately processed my order. I received an email confirmation shortly after we hung up. I immediately verified the price, expecting to find a hidden tax or shipping cost. The price was exactly as Joe had said. I can't think of any other store that quotes final prices on their products.
I am very pleased with the service I received and sharing my story with anyone who asks me about my camera.
